At Ohev Yisrael, we serve Yeshua by serving each other. Our congregation has many roles and responsibilities, internally and externally, and we encourage all to get involved. Below are some opportunities to plug in!
SERVE Team: OUTREACH
Join this new and exciting team to engage both our local and global neighbors to share the good news to the Jewish community through service, hospitality, fellowship, prayer, and living lives consistent with the example of the Messiah. Members of this team are ambassadors for our congregation as we "hit the streets" and plan outreach events to share our testimonies both verbally and through acts of service.
Worship & Tech Team
Serving on our worship & tech team is a great way to support our Shabbat service activities. Learn how to set up the stage, sound engineering, camera operation, live streaming & more. If you have a musical talent, instrumentally or vocally, we welcome you to share with us!
Shabbat School Teacher
Ohev Yisrael’s Shabbat School program aims to provide a strong spiritual foundation in scripture, utilizing Messianic Jewish curricula for children from ages three through high school. We provide a warm, nurturing environment by a staff of caring teachers. Instruction in Jewish culture, tradition, and history, as well as a love for the land of Israel are also part of our program.
Kiddush TEAM
We are preparing to bring kiddush (fellowship & food) back after our Shabbat services. Every member is encouraged to join one of the kiddush teams, which serve in setting up and cleaning up, bringing refreshments, and anything else that is needed for that day.
