Membership at Ohev Yisrael
Community is a critical ingredient to spiritual vitality and is one of the foundations for a life lived for Yeshua. Membership at Ohev Yisrael includes commitment to the mission and vision of the congregation and is a way to worship God in accountability, contributions and sharing life together.
Membership comes with life and family enriching benefits:
Spiritual covering and covenantal relationship
Able to grow leadership and relationships within the congregation
Pastoral services
Children can have bar/bat mitzvah/Avraham
May be eligible to receive benevolence in time of need subject to the congregational financial capability
Members have access to financial reports and can attend congregational business and special meetings
All other rights and privileges identified in the congregation’s constitution and bylaws
How Does The Process Work?
1) 6 month attendance
2) After 6 months, submit the membership application below
3) Read Growing to Maturity & take 101 course within next 6 months
4) Final interview after 1 year anniversary of attending Ohev Yisrael
5) Congregation recognition of membership
