Attending at Ohev Yisrael’s Building

An Update on COVID-19 Procedures

As of July 3, 2021, Ohev Yisrael welcomes all members and visitors to wear masks at their discretion.  The governor’s state of emergency ended on June 30, 2021.  We still encourage those who are not vaccinated to wear masks, but we leave this decision in the hands of each individual.  We encourage everyone to pray as to how they should conduct themselves in this regard.  Ohev’s leadership is available to discuss this matter with those who would desire such.  This update applies to all indoor and outdoor events hosted or sponsored by Ohev Yisrael.  Please note our ongoing efforts to ensure the health of all participants in Ohev Yisrael services or events:

  • Children are welcomed to wear face masks, if their parents so choose.  Parents may also request that their child sit at a greater distance from the teacher.

  • Individuals working or volunteering with food preparation or service will continue to wear facial masks/coverings

  • We will continue to provide extra anti-bacterial cleanings of our facilities before and after our gatherings

  • We will continue to offer personal protective equipment including hand-sanitizers and disposable facial masks

  • We will continue to offer modified social distancing seating options for our indoor events

  • All members and guests should continue to pay extra attention to hygiene and sanitation to keep ourselves and others in the best of health (wash those hands!)

  • Anyone experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms is requested to kindly refrain from joining us in-person until you are well.  You are welcome to join us online via our live-stream and to contact us to be added to our prayer list for healing

  • We encourage members and guests to continue to respect facial mask/covering and social distancing preferences of one another in love and kindness (Matthew 25:40, Philippians 2:3, Pikuach nefesh)

We invite you to continue to join us in prayer for full worldwide recovery from COVID-19 as we enter this new phase with attitudes of love, grace, mercy, and compassion.
