Yeshua in Scripture
The Hebrew word for salvation is "Yeshua". Moses, Jacob and the prophet Isaiah saw Yeshua. Scripture clearly testifies to this fact:
- Exodus 15:2
- The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my Yeshua. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.
- 1 Chronicles 16:23
- Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his Yeshua day after day.
- 2 Chronicles 6:41
- Now arise, O LORD God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with Yeshua, may your saints rejoice in your goodness.
- Psalms 14:7
- Oh, that Yeshua for Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!
- Psalms 18:2
- The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my Yeshua and my high tower.
- Psalms 27:1
- The LORD is my light and my Yeshua -- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life -- of whom shall I be afraid?
- Psalms 28:8
- The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of Yeshua for his anointed one.
- Psalms 35:9
- Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and delight in his Yeshua.
- Psalms 37:39
- The Yeshua of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
- Psalms 40:16
- But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your Yeshua always say, "The LORD be exalted!"
- Psalms 69:13
- But I pray to you, O LORD, in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God, answer me with your sure Yeshua.
- Psalms 85:7
- Show us your unfailing love, O LORD, and grant us your Yeshua.
- Psalms 95:1
- Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our Yeshua.
- Psalms 96:2
- Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his Yeshua day after day.
- Psalms 98:1-2
- Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked Yeshua for him. The LORD has made his Yeshua known and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
- Psalms 116:13
- I will lift up the cup of Yeshua and call on the name of the LORD.
- Psalms 118:14
- The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my Yeshua.
- Psalms 119:41
- May your unfailing love come to me, O LORD, your Yeshua according to your promise.
- Psalms 119:166
- I wait for your Yeshua, O LORD, and I follow your commands.
- Psalms 119:174
- I long for your Yeshua, O LORD, and your law is my delight.
- Psalms 149:4
- For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with Yeshua.
- Isaiah 12:2
- Surely God is my Yeshua; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my Yeshua."
- Isaiah 25:9
- In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in Yeshua."
- Isaiah 30:15
- This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your Yeshua in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.
- Isaiah 33:2
- O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our Yeshua in time of distress.
- Isaiah 33:6
- He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of Yeshua and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.

- Your heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let Yeshua spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the LORD, have created it.
- Isaiah 45:17
- But Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting Yeshua; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.
- Isaiah 49:8
- This is what the LORD says: "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of Yeshua I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances.
- Isaiah 52:10
- The LORD will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the Yeshua of our God.
- Isaiah 56:1
- This is what the LORD says: "Maintain justice and do what is right, for my Yeshua is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
- Isaiah 61:10
- I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of Yeshua and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
- Lamentations 3:26
- it is good to wait quietly for the Yeshua of the LORD.
- Jonah 2:9
- But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Yeshua comes from the LORD.
- Luke 1:26-33
- And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Yeshua He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
- Acts 13:47
- For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "`I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring Yeshua to the ends of the earth.'"

- For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Yeshua Ha Messiach.
- Hebrews 2:3
- How shall we escape if we ignore such a great Yeshua? This Yeshua, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
